Dota 2 Reborn Beta Update - 1 de Setembro de 2015






Hoje, 1 de setembro de 2015, aconteceu uma atualização no DotA 2 de 5,8GB. O pessoal da Valve postou em seu blog o motivo disso, e eles são ótimos! Veja só:

"Passando o The International e com a Major chegando logo, estamos empolgados por ter o mundo jogando Dota 2 no Source 2. Nas próximas semanas, teremos no client principal, atualizações do Reborn. Deixando o Source 1 de lado logo, iremos focar nosso trabalho exclusivamente pro Source 2 nas preparações para os vários campeonatos que estão por vir. Ainda tem algumas coisas que precisamos trabalhar quando a atualização estiver liberada, mas planejamos fazer isso rapidamente. Espere que nas próximas semanas iremos terminar de consertar os problemas, refinando a interface, tudo baseado nos feedbacks de vocês. Posteriormente, iremos começar a focar nossa atenção na interface do usuário dentro do jogo, onde planejamos redesenhar as HUD e trabalhar na variedade de opções oferecidas dentro dos games.

O update de hoje contém várias correções de bug e melhorias, assim como um grande numero de mudanças internas que resultaram em um grande e único download. Agora é uma boa hora pra baixar o Reborn, pois não haverá necessidade de baixar novamente quando o client principal receber o update nas próximas semanas.
Se você não tem a atualização do Reborn instalada e gostaria de começar a fazer isso agora, inicie o client do Dota e vá para aba "Play" para instalar. Todos os seus itens estarão no client do Reborn e depois de hoje todos os conteúdos novos irão ser adicionados diretamente no source 2."

  • Fixed a rare case where item combining could cause items to be destroyed
  • Friends list is now sorted correctly

  • Added shadow filtering for sfm lights, controllable by shadowFilterSize control
  • Added DepthBias and SlopeScaleDepthBias controls to sfm lights
  • Added ambientIntensity control to sfm lights
  • Increased max sfm light count to 32 (max shadowed light count is still 16)
  • Implemented ambient occlusion in sfm
